  • Ultimate IQ’s app icon, its phone app and its Garmin watch app on a dark background. The phone shows the Hub, with the chapter load ring in gold at 618 of a 520 target; the watch shows a live offence point at 0:06, with a heart rate of 162.

A phone and watch app that measures Ultimate Frisbee games and training, and shows players honest numbers: measured where it can, clearly labelled where it estimates.

  • Five phones running the Andy app, standing on a pale lilac floor: the home screen, with “Try saying…” and a watchlist, in front; the My Taste moods and the filters either side; and two softly blurred wireframes behind.

    Abarta AI

As project manager of Abarta, an AI tutor for Leaving Certificate maths, I developed new feature ideas, mapped them in Visio, designed the interface and presented each feature.

  • Five numbered cards standing in a row on a warm dark floor: Everything report, Settlements, Errors, PARC and PAIN, each with a line icon and linked by arrows. Behind them, out of focus, a wall of 45 small grey cards stands for the old manual steps.

    Systems and process

    Custody settlements, automated

At U.S. Bank, I automated the daily work of a settlements analyst: one workbook whose four macros settle trades, update errors and post partial settlements, but only when every detail matches the market.

  • Two clock faces on a warm dark floor. In front, a crisp white clock reads “6 minutes”, with a short ochre arc from twelve o’clock marking six minutes. Behind it, dim and out of focus, a clock reads “60 minutes”, its ring filled all the way round.

    Systems and process

    Money market fund reconciliation, rebuilt

At U.S. Bank, I rebuilt the daily money market fund reconciliation that earlier attempts hadn’t fixed: I reverse-engineered the old macro so it runs from Excel, cutting it from about an hour to six minutes.
