About
I’m a product designer who focuses on systems design and process solutions. I look past the single screen or object to the system around it: how it’s made, how information moves through it, and how it keeps working when real people use it.
I trained in product design at TU Dublin, then designed the UI and features of a natural-speech AI app with the founders of Area22, an early-stage start-up later acquired by TELUS. As Innovation Project Lead and then Product Manager at Easydry, an Irish manufacturer and exporter, I launched new products, won L’Oréal as a customer through its marketplace, and rebuilt demand forecasting for a full year without a stock-related loss. At U.S. Bank, I redesigned a regulated settlement process from 45 manual steps to five, and rebuilt a daily reconciliation from an hour to six minutes, earning three awards in my first year.
My college projects at TU Dublin follow the same thread: a manufacturing system for Pace, a social enterprise, so makers with little woodworking experience could produce pieces good enough to sell; a plastic pannier rack designed around its own manufacture (both solo projects); and, in my final year with my team, Phonics, an earpiece for autistic children that was Highly Commended at the Bolton Trust Awards.
I hold an MSc in Digital Innovation from UCD Smurfit, with First Class Honours, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Innovation Management from Queen’s University Belfast. Today I build my own products with AI. Ultimate IQ carries a game of Ultimate from a Garmin watch to a phone and turns it into numbers players can trust, and Lagh Leaderboards runs my club’s training challenges inside Slack, for free. I direct the product and its design, and Claude Code writes the code: it keeps me at the forefront of AI-assisted development, and gives me new ways to bring ideas to life.
Away from the desk, I play Ultimate at an elite level. I represented Ireland in 2025, and finished 16th at the World Club Championships, the best result an Irish team has achieved. I also coached children’s football at Belmont FC for ten years. I’m now based in Perth, Western Australia.
